Brad is a job advice columnist for both Yahoo! and AdAge, and he has authored Confessions of a Recruiting Director: The Insider's Guide to Landing Your First Job (Prentice Hall, 2006) and How to Say It on Your Resume: A Top Recruiting Director's Guide to Writing the Perfect Resume for Every Job (Prentice Hall, 2009). Brad currently sits on the Board of Directors of Think Chicago.
Prior to starting JobBound, Brad spent 15 years at Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago. He left in 2002 as the VP/Director of Talent Acquisition, responsible for all the agency's hiring. While at Burnett, Brad evaluated more than 10,000 resumes, interviewed more than 1,000 candidates and hired hundreds of employees. Brad has become a national authority on the job search process.
Brad graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut with a B.A. in History and currently resides in Chicago with his wife Lisa and sons Milo and Gus.
Jeff Hiller is a Senior Presenter/Workshop Leader at JobBound, a company dedicated to helping professionals and students with the job search. JobBound is the nation’s foremost authority on career-related issues, having been featured on CNN, CNBC, and The Dr. Phil Show and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, New York Times, USA Today, and many others.
After graduating from Dartmouth College with high honors, Jeff began his career at Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago. He quickly rose through the ranks becoming the youngest Vice President in the history of the company. In addition to managing accounts including Keebler, StarKist, and Heinz, Jeff was a key player in the recruiting department. He reviewed thousands of resumes and interviewed hundreds of applicants for jobs at Leo Burnett.
In addition to his work at Leo Burnett, Jeff also worked as a marketing executive with the Houston Rockets before joining JobBound.
Courtney Pike has over five years of experience in the development and career counseling field. Courtney is a solutions-oriented career development and communications professional who has shared her passion, vision, and expertise to bring leading-edge career initiatives to JobBound. She has combined her love of learning and development with her creativity in communications to help propel JobBound to the top of the market. Courtney oversees all daily operations, and she spearheads JobBound's strategic partnerships and business development.
Courtney is co-author of How To Say It on Your Resume: A Top Recruiting Director's Guide to Writing the Perfect Resume for Every Job, and she writes career articles for Metro Chicago Jobs, Qvisory, and UChic. Courtney received her bachelor of arts degree in English and public relations from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. Courtney currently resides in Chicago.
